DESTINIES
The 2nd Annual Awards presented in 2011 proved to be unique in that both recipients are travelling to Mexico to build homes for less fortunate families. Shelby Guennete will be leaving in August and Jeremy Ens and his team of 34 from three Venturer/Rover Groups will be leaving in July. Wendy was also made an Honorary Scout!
For the first time in Carpe Diem 88’s young history, four grants were awarded to four ordinary people wishing to do extraordinary things. Our 2010 recipients demonstrated a strong desire to help people who are in need, proved their participation in humanitarian efforts. Joshua, Katie, Emily, and Ashley are an inspiration to our foundation, as their determination and commitments to make a difference in this world is inspiring!
