A message from Wendy, James' mother:

Hello everyone! It gives me great comfort to share this foundation with Canadians.  It was created and designed to capture the very essence of Cpl James Hayward Arnal; what he stood for, what was important to him, what he was passionate about, and how he lived his life to the fullest.  He took his God given talents and balanced them with adventure and a humanitarian focused career. It is my hope that you get to know the man that has inspired friends, family and strangers and come to understand our passion and love for him and why I want to share him with the world.

He leaves us with the legacy that "ordinary people can do extraordinary things".  It is a story worth sharing and a story worth gifting, as our youth will inherit the world!  Should you be so inspired, we are looking to encourage and support those that best exemplify qualities shared with James but unique to you as an individual.

I encourage Canada's youth and young adults to live life with a healthy balance of adventure and humanitarian work.  Together we share a passion for preserving and enhancing human rights and freedom.  This foundation is dedicated to making a difference in memory of my son, Cpl James Hayward Arnal by financially supporting a life's experience for "ordinary people that want to do extraordinary things".  It is an honour and a privilege to encourage and support inspired young Canadians that make a difference.

I would also like to extend an invitation to those that may not necessarily be able to give the time to such an experience and ask for your support through a donation and make a difference with me. You may ask, why should you donate? I have learned a very valuable life's lesson from both my sons Andrew and James; "Life's all about experiences. If you're not having any, you really aren't living." We are supporting our hearts at home ... they are our heroes of hope!
